Geonetric Clients Receive 12 Awards for Industry-Leading Online Initiatives

Nine Geonetric clients honored for online excellence, including two best in class awards.

Cedar Rapids, IA – November 21, 2014 — Geonetric, an online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, is excited to announce nine clients have been recognized by four organizations for online excellence. All of the award-winning websites are built on Geonetric's VitalSite content management software, which delivers customized content and functionality to site visitors.

Four Geonetric clients were honored with eHealthcare Leadership Awards, sponsored by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends. The awards ceremony, which was held during the Eighteenth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Scottsdale, AZ, honors the best websites in healthcare. More than 1,000 entries were received. Five Geonetric clients received MarCom Awards. MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

  • Cape Cod Healthcare, Hyannis, MA, received an honorable mention in the category of Writing/Web Copy
  • CentraCare Health, St. Cloud, MN, received an honorable mention for its intranet in the category of Website Element/Intranet
  • North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, MO, received a gold for its Cardio Campaign in the category of Marketing/Promo/Digital Marketing
  • Olmsted Medical Center, Rochester, MN, received a platinum in the category of Website/Medical
  • UHS, Binghamton, NY, received a gold in the category of Website/Medical

Interactive Media Awards

Two Geonetric clients received best in class awards from the Interactive Media Awards, sponsored by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. The best in class award is the highest honor bestowed by the organization. To win this award level, the website had to achieve very high marks in each of the judging criteria, an achievement only a fraction of the sites earn. Best in class winners are:
