Geonetric to Share Groundbreaking Approach to Campaign Marketing at Annual SHSMD Conference

Geonetric to present and exhibit at leading industry conference this September.

Cedar Rapids, IA — September 3, 2013 — Geonetric, an online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, will be speaking and exhibiting at the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD) Connections 2013 Annual Conference. The conference will be held in Chicago, IL on September 29 – October 2, 2013. 

Ben Dillon, vice president and eHealth evangelist at Geonetric, and Grant Gegwich, vice president, public relations and marketing at Crozer–Keystone Health System will be presenting Using Digital Marketing for Service Line Growth on Monday, September 30 at 2:15 p.m.

In this session, Dillon and Gegwich will showcase the benefits the Web provides for promoting service lines. Crozer–Keystone and Geonetric took a unique approach to filling gastroenterology schedules, bringing together multiple marketing components quickly and in innovative ways. The colonoscopy campaign took place almost entirely online — using pay–per–click, landing pages, Facebook promotion, Pandora ads and email blasts — and resulted in 73 scheduled procedures in only three months.

“There’s a shift happening in our industry and healthcare marketers are no longer using the Web as only a support mechanism for their traditional marketing campaigns.
