for Attracting Top Talent
Microsite
Like many health care organizations in the post-pandemic era, the VHC recruitment team was struggling to attract job candidates. The health system turned to Geonetric to build a Careers microsite with a fresh design and new candidate-focused content.

Goals
Goal #1
Create a new home base for job seekers and the digital recruitment team’s SEO, SEM and paid campaigns.
Goal #2
Attract candidates to VHC with a vibrant design, fresh and fun color palette, subtle design flourishes and custom photos.
Goal #3
Expand and deepen Careers content to address common candidate questions, explain the application process, and showcase VHC’s people and culture.
The Work
The structure, page names, calls-to-action and content are designed from a job candidate’s perspective, with a custom navigation that keeps users focused on Careers content and provides access to the main site.
Images of real employees, “Search Jobs” CTAs, content addressing common questions, landing pages for physicians and nurses and employee testimonials and quotes lend the site credibility and authenticity.
Comprehensive keyword research, analysis and recommendations drove IA and content decisions, and other SEO techniques like on-page optimization and Schema code improve findability.
Between large, styled text, bright green headers, vibrant accent colors, friendly typography and dark-colored backgrounds, the microsite design is memorable, approachable and distinctly VHC.
The design has elevated details like the sleek “VHC” watermark, multi-color divider lines, overlapping UI elements and careful use of white/open space.
The Results
VHC’s Careers microsite is equipped with the content and design it needs to show off its culture and attract the top candidates.
