Custom Navigation Helps Visitors Connect with Health System
Website Design & Development
St. Bernards’ existing website wasn’t meeting the needs of its diverse audiences, which include patients, job seekers, and donors. As the premier provider of health services in the area, the organization needed a healthcare marketing partner that could strengthen its brand while helping every website visitor accomplish what they came to the site to do.
The St. Bernards team reached out to Geonetric to facilitate their website overhaul and reach their marketing goals.

The Work
Approach
We recommended a site redesign using our VitalSite® healthcare content management system, along with refreshed content, empowering the St. Bernards team to take ownership of website updates and incorporate new functionality to reflect the modern brand they wanted to portray.
New navigation
We created new custom homepages and navigation menus for the St. Bernards’ careers page, foundation, and popular fitness center that simultaneously focuses on outside users’ top tasks while gaining the confidence of internal stakeholders.
Bold branding
The design of the refreshed St. Bernards’ website emphasizes the organization’s bold primary red color, with a modern layout that guides users through the content without overwhelming them.
Compassionate content
Our content team led interviews with dozens of St. Bernards stakeholders to rewrite or create new content for 175 web pages that communicate how the health system can improve patients’ quality of life in an easy-to-understand way, so the message is effective regardless of a user’s health literacy level.
Easy upkeep
Keeping the content in VitalSite® and on St. Bernards’ domain simplifies content governance, while homepage and landing page templates also provide the flexibility to accommodate four different layouts for the health system.
The Results
In the first 30 days following the site’s launch:
Award Recognition
St. Bernards’ new website and service line content earned it an Honorable Mention for Web Content in the 2023 MarCom Awards.
[We got] so much great feedback. Every single one of our internal stakeholders was very impressed. People within our organization have approached me and repeatedly said, ‘The new website looks so good’ or ‘It is so easy to find what I need!
