After a disappointing experience with another agency, CentraCare returned to Geonetric for a more collaborative and responsive partnership. The goal: transform its digital presence into a more intuitive, consistent, and patient-focused experience.

A common pain point for users was the presence of multiple levels of care without clear guidance on which option best suited their needs. To address this, Geonetric implemented a dedicated sub-navigation area—separate from the site’s global navigation—featuring large, green buttons that clearly detail each level of care.

Geonetric led content development across CentraCare’s service lines, working closely with marketing managers and subject-matter experts to ensure accurate, location-specific information and strong calls to action. In parallel, the design team brought CentraCare’s evolving brand to life through custom photography, brush stroke elements, and a layout that balances visual appeal with usability.

To support CentraCare’s goal of increasing online appointments, Geonetric integrated Epic scheduling links into high-traffic areas like the global navigation and provider profiles. For services without online scheduling, flexible CTA blocks — such as “Reach Out Today”— were created to guide users to the appropriate contact.

To improve site management, CentraCare transitioned to Geonetric’s VitalSite® CMS. An automated data feed streamlined updates for more than 1,300 provider profiles, while VitalSite Smart Panels allowed content changes to be applied across multiple pages.

CentraCare’s redesigned website received a Gold Award for Best Overall Digital Patient Experience in the 2025 eHealthcare Leadership Awards, as well as an Honorable Mention in the 2025 MarCom Awards.
