As a leading health system, Bronson Healthcare wanted to showcase success stories and positive testimonials from its patients and providers to demonstrate its value to the community it serves.

To achieve this, Bronson engaged us to help design and build a bright, fresh, and engaging new blog on its website that could serve as a storytelling and branding platform that would encourage local residents to turn to Bronson for their healthcare needs.

Create a visual design for the blog that reflects the Bronson brand, inspires positivity and highlights the human side of healthcare.

Ensure the blog works seamlessly on mobile devices and is SEO-optimized to draw in new visitors.

Design a layout for the patient and provider stories that helps users find the stories they’re most interested in by topic or service line.

Bright & personal welcome

The Bronson Positivity blog layout begins with a bright and colorful banner featuring the faces of real Bronson patients and providers, which lends the page a sense of authenticity and ensures users that they aren’t alone in their healthcare journey.

A content community

After the banner, the next element users see is a bright green callout banner prompting them to share their own positive experiences with Bronson through a simple, easy-to-use form that rewards their story submission with a gift.

Guiding the users’ journey

Features like filters for helping users drill down to stories about specific services or locations and crosslinks to other task-oriented tools on the website help put the user in the driver’s seat and ensure they never feel lost.

Encouraging exploration

As users scroll through the story pages, a “Related Stories” area offers more user-generated stories that share the same tag, encouraging them to further explore relevant blog posts.

Ensuring accessibility

The Bronson Positivity blog features a responsive, inclusive design that meets WCAG accessibility standards, allowing people with low vision, hearing loss, color blindness, or other disabilities to still interact with their health system’s site and feel connected to its providers
