User-focused design and content reflect Community Hospital's dedication to patient-focused care.
Cedar Rapids, IA - November 12, 2009 - Geonetric, an online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, and Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula recently unveiled a new website. From the personal patient stories in the banner, to the audience-based navigational links, to the friendly design style, the entire site is built to be the digital extension of the hospital's patient-focused care model.
From the home page, users can perform tasks of importance to them based on their needs and reasons for coming to the site. In addition, Community Hospital's new site includes Web 2.0 features such as video, podcasts and a new Facebook page.
"Our new site is focused on our audience and their needs. From the language and design, to the functionality and Web 2.0 features, everything is geared toward helping site visitors answer questions, complete a task, or start a conversation with our facility," says Coralie Cushman, Web Project Manager at Community Hospital. "Geonetric helped us build a website that represents the organization we are today and meets the demands of our diverse audiences. They have been a great partner to work with."
The site was built on Geonetric's award winning software, VitalSite, and features functionality that allows users to find doctors, locations and services. It also offers classes and events, volunteer forms and eCommerce functionality.
Community Hospital and Geonetric will continue to expand the hospital's social media presence and develop online marketing campaigns around major service lines.
