House of Hope, Matthew 25, Cedar Rapids AniMeals, and K9COLA received new websites during Geonetric’s annual Operation Overnight event.
Cedar Rapids, IOWA, October 20, 2017 – This morning four Cedar Rapids nonprofit organizations gathered together to see their new websites. House of Hope, Matthew 25, Cedar Rapids AniMeals, and K9COLA are all proud owners of new websites, thanks to the generosity of local digital marketing agency Geonetric.
“Before Geonetric’s Operation Overnight event, our website was outdated,” says Kelsey Rwayitare, Executive Director, House of Hope. “Now, people get to see a true picture of who we are and what services we provide to the women in our community. Being a part of this event means so much to us. We could not have done this without Geonetric’s support.”
The sites were built as part Geonetric’s sixth annual Operation Overnight. During this event, Geonetric developers, designers, writers and strategists set aside two days to deliver websites and digital marketing services to local nonprofits free of charge. To date, Operation Overnight has built and launched websites for 31 area nonprofits.
This unique event wouldn’t be possible without the help of local partners and sponsors: University of Iowa Community Credit Union, Bimm Ridder Sportswear, Ben Kaplan Photo, Catering by LJ’s, Wylie Creative Communications, Lucky’s on Sixteenth, The Early Bird, Farmers State Bank, Hy-Vee, Office Express, Great American Popcorn Co., Hills Bank and Trust Company, US Bank, F&M Bank, Brewhemia, McNary Marketing & Design, Sculpt, Massage Therapy Professionals, PDCM Insurance, Lu’s Deli, Guaranty Bank & Trust, Ruby’s Pizzeria, Parlor City, and Fassler Marketing.
The four non-profit organizations were selected from a pool of applications. Qualified nonprofits had to be a 501(c) organization based in Cedar Rapids. Applicants were asked to outline how receiving a new website would help them accomplish their organization’s mission to improve the Cedar Rapids community.
