Linda Barnes

Chief Executive Officer

With a passion for organizational change and employee empowerment, Linda is an inspirational and engaging CEO. Since joining the executive team at Geonetric in 2006, she has been an instrumental part of the company’s growth. Over the years, Linda has overseen marketing, business development, human resources, and client services. Linda designed and implemented workplace culture initiatives that led to Geonetric repeatedly being named a best place to work as well as one of the most flexible companies in the country. An expert in organizational design, Linda is a frequent guest speaker at both local meet-up groups and national conferences such as the WordBlu Summit and Humanizing Work. She has an associate’s degree from Cottey College, a bachelor’s degree in business from William Penn University, and a master’s degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Linda is a Lean Six Sigma green belt, a Certified Scrum Master, and a Certified Agile Leader.

Ben Dillon

Chief Strategy Officer

Ben’s a big picture type of guy. He loves sharing new ideas in digital marketing, keeping a watchful eye on healthcare industry trends and seeing how it all intersects. A sought-after speaker, writer, blogger and former SHSMD president, Ben’s an influential voice in healthcare marketing, helping organizations across the country embrace online strategies to engage health consumers. Combine his industry savvy with his background in software development and you can see why he’s also an important member of Geonetric’s software team, ensuring our content management system stays a step ahead of market needs. Ben holds a master’s degree in eBusiness and strategic management from the University of Iowa and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan.

Eric Ungs

Agency Services Director

Eric is a performance-driven creative and brand leader who is dedicated to ensuring Geonetric builds websites that deliver unparalleled user experiences. As Geonetric’s design director, he provides thought leadership and mentorship to the design team and prioritizes the team’s work. Eric also collaborates across teams to scope projects for clients and bring new products to market. With more than 12 years of experience managing creative services for both B2B and B2C brands, he brings expertise and experience at guiding creative for large-scale digital campaigns and website designs and development to his leadership role. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic communications from the University of Northern Iowa.

Derek Swoboda

Technical Product Director

Derek’s experience as an engineer, technical lead, and overseas software coordinator gives him deep expertise in how to build valuable software, manage stakeholder requests and synchronize development teams. All skills he relies on in his role as technical product director at Geonetric. Derek is always on the lookout for new ways to ensure Geonetric’s software suite is meeting the needs of today’s healthcare marketers and the patients they serve. He is practiced at ensuring the development team understands key business objectives and is always bringing cutting-edge tools to the market. Derek holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

John Whaley

Senior Account Strategist

John is an expert at helping healthcare organizations use the web strategically. And as a Senior Account Strategist at Geonetric, he ensures organizations are finding success with their digital initiatives. With an extensive background in digital marketing, he understands how to use the web to connect with health consumers and achieve organizational goals. Previously the director of internet marketing at a digital agency, John led a team who developed marketing plans, built websites, wrote online content, and performed on-page optimization for businesses across the country. This digital strategist also has a love for the law, and spent four years as a police officer. His background in law enforcement proves he can function under high levels of stress, making him an ideal partner to help sell big ideas to the C-suite. John holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Iowa State University with a minor in criminal justice.

Caleb Moody

Senior Account Strategist

Caleb has a passion for digital and data. And as a senior account strategist at Geonetric, he gets to use digital and data every day to help hospitals and health systems connect patients with the doctors, services, and locations they need. He has eight years of experience managing complex digital marketing initiatives, including managing an agency digital team that was charged with planning and executing SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social and display campaigns for dozens of clients across diverse industries. Caleb holds certifications in Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and is a Bing Ads Accredited Professional. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Purdue University Global Iowa.

Destiny Hastings

Senior Account Strategist

Destiny is focused on achieving goals. As a senior account strategist at Geonetric, she works with healthcare organizations around the country to help them better understand their website performance, improve their online user experience, and, most importantly, use digital strategies to achieve broader marketing and organizational initiatives. She has deep experience in marketing and operations having held management roles in both higher education and non-profit industries, where she honed the skills necessary to help build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Destiny holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Coe College and a master’s degree in business administration from Kaplan University.
