UHS and Geonetric Partner, Develop New Web Presence

Cedar Rapids, IA — March 25, 2014 — Geonetric, an online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, today launched a new responsive website for UHS, a NY-based health system.

“It’s important to UHS to ensure our communities have easy access to healthcare and our new website helps us meet this goal,” said James Embry, UHS’s website and eMarketing editor. “Geonetric’s content management system has been a great fit for UHS, and the new responsive design enables us to create a great, easy-to-use patient experience online.”

UHS’s new website is built on Geonetric's VitalSite® content management system (CMS) and uses responsive design, which means the website automatically detects the site visitor's screen size and orientation and changes the layout accordingly. The site features provider, location, and service directories, a wait time indicator and a robust calendar of events.

UHS and Geonetric also worked together to create a custom section with unique designs for the organization’s career section. The site also boasts custom section pages for the organization’s main hospitals and medical center, allowing UHS to highlight what makes each facility unique.

Geonetric and UHS are at work at enhancing their employee intranet for the organization that will enhance communication and improve information access.
