Geonetric News Release
HCA's
Capital Division Selects Geonetric to Serve as Strategic Content Partner for 15
Facilities
Geonetric chosen to provide strategy based on its proven record of managing
large-scale content initiatives.
Cedar Rapids, IA - November 1, 2011 - HCA's Capital Division has
selected Geonetric to create and implement a comprehensive online content
strategy for fifteen of its hospitals in Virginia and New Hampshire. Geonetric
will develop recommendations for building intuitive information architecture
that allows the Capital Division to consolidate sites and improve user
interaction. In addition to developing site structures, Geonetric will also
create engaging content that emphasizes the regionally-known health system
brands while still showcasing the strength of local facilities.
"Geonetric possesses industry-recognized expertise to support our
brand-building strategies on the Internet," said Mark Foust, vice
president of communications for HCA's Richmond, Virginia-based Capital
Division. "We selected them because of their ability to improve the
engagement of website viewers through not only content enhancement, but also
information architecture work."
Geonetric's scope of work primarily involves HCA Virginia, which includes seven
hospitals in Central Virginia, two in Northern Virginia, and the four hospitals
of the LewisGale Regional Health System in Southwest Virginia. Portsmouth
Regional Hospital and Parkland Medical Center in New Hampshire are also part of
the project. The project focuses on ensuring that site structure and Web
content evolves in step with organizational goals and user needs. The new site
structure will provide a comprehensive brand experience for site visitors while
still serving as a hub for facility-specific content.
The strategy will be guided by a comprehensive audit and an in-depth analysis
of all existing website content across the regional systems. Geonetric will
then create and implement content that supports the objectives of HCA's Capital
Division and provide recommendations for a content governance structure that is
sustainable for the long term.
