Geonetric to Share Insights on Patient-Centric Web Technologies at Annual SHSMD Conference
Geonetric to present and moderate sessions, host numerous roundtables and exhibit at leading industry conference this September.
Cedar Rapids, IA – August 31, 2010 – Geonetric, an online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, will be speaking and exhibiting at the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development Connections 2010 conference. The conference will be held in Chicago, IL on September 12-15, 2010.
Ben Dillon, Geonetric's vice president and eHealth evangelist, and Ken Croken, vice president, corporate communications and marketing at Genesis Health will be presenting: The Patient-Centric Web: Then and Now on Tuesday, September 14, at 1:45 p.m. The presentation will discuss the transformation of the patient-centered website and how it has evolved from brochure-ware to a tool for making personal connections.
"In just the last five years, patient-centricity for online initiatives in the healthcare industry has exploded," said Dillon. "This presentation will walk attendees though the transformation and focus on how upcoming changes in healthcare delivery models will impact patient-centric sites of the future."
In addition, Dillon will be moderating the session Physician Marketing vs. Consumer Marketing: Which Brings More Patients in the Door? on Tuesday, September 14, at 3:30 p.m.
