Geonetric and Dean Launch Exceptional Online Customer Experience

Geonetric's software and support delivers outstanding results for regional healthcare leader.

Cedar Rapids, IA - February 25, 2010 - Dean, one of the largest integrated healthcare delivery systems in the country, is known for providing outstanding service to its patients and members. Looking to extend this experience online, Dean turned to Geonetric, an online solutions provider with experience serving both health systems and health plans, to build a unified Web presence. The new site launched today and presents a shared brand identity for Dean Clinic, Dean Health Plan and Dean Foundation, focused on Dean's leadership in healthcare.

Dean's new website provides a single user experience, allowing patients and members to easily navigate among Dean Clinic, Dean Health Plan and Dean Foundation. Geonetric and Dean worked together to ensure Dean's provider directory is compliant with the National Committee on Quality Assurance requirements. Geonetric's FlexFilter technology allowed provider information to be presented in multiple ways - meeting the needs of both patients and members. For Dean Health Plan, members can search for a provider based on network requirements, and for Dean Clinic, patients can search based on criteria such as location or specialty.

Dean's launch expands Geonetric's base with health plan providers. The site was built on Geonetric's software, VitalSite, and features a long list of functionality that allows site users to better interact with Dean. Dean is excited to build their online foundation and is working with Geonetric on the next phase of their project.
