Geonetric News Release
Modern Healthcare Magazine Ranks Geonetric 23rd on List of 100 Best Places to Work
Geonetric's workplace recognized for enabling employees to perform at their optimum level for second consecutive year.
Cedar Rapids, IA - October 28, 2009 - Geonetric, Inc., a leading online solutions provider for the healthcare industry, was recognized by Modern Healthcare as the 23rd best place to work in the healthcare industry at an awards dinner in Chicago last night. This award comes after placing 10th on the inaugural list in 2008.
"It's an honor to be recognized again as a best place to work by Modern Healthcare," says Eric Engelmann, President and CEO of Geonetric. "We continually strive to hire the best and the brightest employees in the industry and retain them by creating an engaging work environment. And that focus on our team is what allows us to accomplish our mission - providing high quality service to our clients and delivering Web and patient portal software that is second to none."
In September Modern Healthcare announced an alphabetical listing of the 100 healthcare companies that made the cut. In a special supplement published this week, they revealed the rankings from 1 to 100, with Geonetric ranked 23rd overall and 9th among suppliers to the healthcare industry.
To participate, Geonetric completed a rigorous selection process which included an employer questionnaire that detailed the company's policies and benefits. Geonetric's 63 employees were then asked to participate in a comprehensive survey that requested feedback on the company's leadership and planning, work environment, pay and benefits, and training and development. A total of 317 healthcare organizations and companies participated in the survey in 2009 compared with 238 last year.
