Geonetric Client Wins National Award for Outstanding Achievement in Internet Advertising
Web Marketing Association recognizes search engine marketing campaign for Avera McKennan Hospital
Cedar Rapids, Iowa (March 26, 2009) - Avera McKennan Hospital, part of Avera Health System in Sioux Falls, SD, and Web solutions provider, Geonetric, recently won the Internet Advertising Competition's 'Best Health Care Integrated Ad Campaign.'
The award, given by the Web Marketing Association, recognizes the impressive search engine marketing campaign implemented to promote Avera McKennan's behavioral health service line.
The online marketing campaign targeted parents of children with mental health conditions. Through a series of Flash banner and text advertisements, Avera McKennan and Geonetric promoted the Center's many services. Ads were placed on more than 30 websites and each service had its own unique landing page and content designed to provide continuity with the ad the visitor clicked.
The campaign ran for one month, and increased site visitors, increased call traffic by more than 60 percent, generated more than 600,000 ad impressions, improved search engine position and identified important keywords.

The Web Marketing Association created the Internet Advertising Campaign competition to highlight outstanding online advertising campaigns. The winners are judged on creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting and use of the medium.
