Geonetric Recognized as Best Place to Work in the Corridor
Cedar Rapids, IA (Nov. 12, 2007) - The staff at Geonetric has been singing the company's praises for several years, pointing out the innovative culture and a CEO who honestly cares what each of his 55 employees think. The staff isn't the only ones touting the growing technology company. The 2007 Edge of Excellence's award committee today recognized Geonetric as Best Place to Work in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids Corridor.
"We've been very fortunate to build a team of intelligent, innovative, fun employees who care about each other and our clients," says Eric Engelmann, President & CEO of Geonetric. "There is definitely a unique culture in place at Geonetric, even in our company's humble beginnings. As we've grown, sometimes by dramatic numbers, it's been important to find employees that possess the same spirit and drive that has come to define our company."
Geonetric, a leading provider of eHealth solutions for the healthcare industry, was honored as the Best Place to Work in the Corridor for companies with 250 or less employees. They were judged on six categories including: excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, enterprise, effectiveness, experience and efficiency.
"Geonetric is the best place to work in Eastern Iowa because we are as passionate about our employees as we are our clients," says Anne Ohrt, Geonetric's Human Resources/Events Coordinator and nominator. "Geonetric is the real deal-a small company with a big heart and a big passion."
