Geonetric Clients Take Eleven Top Honors in Nationally Acclaimed Awards

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (Friday, November 17, 2006) - Geonetric, designer and developer of healthcare web strategies and applications, maintains its continued trend of producing award winning web sites for their clients. In the 4th consecutive year, Geonetric clients have received awards for their online presences and strategies including; Avera St. Luke's (Aberdeen, SD), Mercy Medical Center (Cedar Rapids, IA), Genesis Health System (Davenport, IA), Norton Healthcare (Louisville, KY) and National Jewish Medical and Research Center (Denver, CO).

WebAwards 2006

Avera St. Luke's Hospital was a recipient of The WebAward Healthcare Provider Standard of Excellence, dispersed by The Web Marketing Association in October 2006. Other winners of the award included Genesis Health System and Norton Healthcare. The WebAwards recognize only the most effective and best web sites in the industry evaluated on a series of criteria including content and interaction. Distinguished judging experts from around the country convene to survey each web site, comparing every aspect from ease of use to site design.

"Our goal is to be the 'go-to' place for health information for people in our region, and our web site is an important tool in communicating that. So to receive an award of excellence for our web site helps to affirm that we're doing something right," said Patty Kirkpatrick, Director of Marketing & Public Relations - Avera St. Luke's Hospital.

eHealthcare Leadership Awards 2006

Other Geonetric clients were the recipients of the eHealthcare Leadership awards, sponsored by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends to industry leaders for outstanding online presence in the healthcare community. The awards ceremony was held this month on November 6th at the Greystone 10th Annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Atlanta, GA. Among the winners were:

  • Norton Healthcare, Best Site Design - Platinum Award
  • Norton Healthcare, Best Quality Communication - Platinum Award
  • National Jewish Medical and Research Center, Best Healthcare Content - Silver Award
  • Genesis Health System, Best Interactive Site - Gold Award
  • Genesis Health System, Best eBusiness Site - Silver Award
  • Mercy Cedar Rapids, Best Interactive Site - Silver Award
  • Mercy Cedar Rapids, Best Overall Internet Site - Gold Award
  • Avera Health, Best Overall internet Site - Silver Award
