  A: Iowa. It's a state. More or less in the middle of the country. Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to be exact. There are no potatoes here. That's Idaho.

  Iowa ranks 1st in the nation as the highest quality-of-life state. Forbes magazine evaluated the states based on the quality of schools, health, cost of living and poverty rates.
  
  Iowa ranks 3rd in the country for highest average ACT scores for the third year in a row. The average ACT composite score for 2006 Iowa seniors was 22.1 and Linn-Mar, a Cedar Rapids school, had an average score of 24.2.
  
  Iowa ranks 3rd as the most livable state in the country according to Morgan Quitno Press in 2006. It was bumped up three spots from last year. As for cities in Iowa, in 2006 Money Magazine rated Cedar Rapids as one of the 90 Best Small Cities to live in, praising its safety and ease of living!

  A. Actually, we have cows and pigs too. And soybeans. But we also have mountains (sort of), lots of lakes, rivers, hiking/biking trails, farmer's markets, Big Ten sports, and, yes, corn mazes. We get to vote before everyone else. And, in 2233, we'll be Captain Kirk's birthplace.
